The space
You get the entire private apartment downstairs. Convenient SE Denver, Denver Tech Center Area location. University of Colorado Medical Center only 20 minutes away on I-225. This full size apartment can sleep 6. Features a kitchen-den area with large sectional sofa, recliner, electric fireplace, and flat screen TV. Kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, large toaster oven, electric skillet, toaster, and dishwasher. There are 2 full baths. The Aspen Room bedroom has a queen bed, fireplace, and access to full bath with a shower. The Breckenridge Room features a private master suite with a king size bed, private bathtub – shower, and an electric fireplace. The Copper Mountain Room has a double bed and electric fireplace. Across the hall full bath. Each bedroom has a window, electric fireplace, Free WiFi and Netflix TV. No smoking in the property.

Guest access
Completely separate private lower level apartment. We live upstairs and are available if you need anything during your stay. You have full private access to the den-kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and private stairwell entrance. Includes free off street parking and private driveway for the apartment. Access to patio and backyard. When you book as a couple you have access to the Breckenridge King Bed room. Bookings for 3-4 guests have access to both The Breckenridge King and the Aspen Queen Bedrooms. Bookings of 5-6 guests access all three bedrooms, including the Copper Mountain Double Bed room, and a large sectional couch for sleeping in the den. Long term rental guests are welcome and enjoy convenient access to UC Medical, Denver Tech Center, and two light rails stations for easy access to Downtown Denver.

Perfect for business or leisure travelers. Leisure travelers can use the Blue Bear Den as a hub for Summer or Ski Season fun. Business travelers looking for extended stays will find the location perfect for easy access to the DTC. And convention attendees can save on parking by taking the RTD Light Rail to the Downtown Denver Convention Center (and see the “Other” Blue Bear in town!

This area of Denver features a variety of recreation activities: hiking and bike trails (there are bike and scooter rentals available). We are a 4.2 mile drive to the Cherry Creek Reservoir recreation area, Highline Canal giving you access to over 70 miles of hiking and biking trails, and a beautiful walking trail to Denver’s expansive Eisenhower Park with picnic areas, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, community swimming pool, running trails, and beautiful green space with benches, and beautiful gardens.

NOTES ON YOUR SPACE AT THE BLUE BEAR DEN:
Each bedroom has closets for your clothes, dresser drawers in each room, and we can even convert the master bedroom king bed to a Jack and Jill bath connecting to a double bed room if desired. We provide you with an ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom, shampoo, bath wash, conditioner, and plenty of towels. In the kitchen dishes/ utensils for 6-8 people. You have a Keurig coffee maker, welcome snacks, bottled water upon check-in. We offer a cozy den with great lighting, fireplace, large couch, kept nice and cool so you are never hot in any rooms in the Summer and toasty in the Winter. Large full size fridge with ice maker. We provide plenty of supplies, tissue, kleenex, paper towels, and bath amenities .

After hours take the light rail downtown to enjoy night life, avoid parking fees, or worries about driving late nights. A $5 dollar ride on Uber/ Lyft to the rail stations for late night outings if you don’t want to walk. Great lighting for coming and going on the side of the house where you park. Ample back patio lighting so you can always see to safely enter the apartment.

The Blue Bear Den has a covered porch entrance with a covered bench. You have access to a nice patio with bar-bbq grill, table and chairs on the patio with 9 foot umbrella covered table and chairs so you can enjoy cool nights sitting outside. Plenty of room to store your bike on patio, canoe, kayak, or skis if you bring your own to use in the mountains, rivers, reservoirs, or other recreation activities around the city.

We offer a quiet street and safe area for your comfort and pleasure. A great apartment to share with business partners traveling together, each with a private room for up to 6 people if someone wishes to sleep on the sofa. Cheaper than hotel. Long term stay welcome .
